The G4 Draft is finishing the second round of feedback with lots of input from all areas. You can continue to submit feedback through November 12th.
There were a total of 650 submissions of feedback on the G4 Exposure Draft during the second PCP. “We have received a record amount of feedback on the Exposure Draft,” says Nelmara Arbex, GRI Deputy Chief Executive, who is leading the G4 development process. There were a total of 589 submissions through the online platform and 61 other submissions representing 197 participants, which came in the form of letters and emails. A further 1798 people attended 49 workshops held in 27 countries around the world.
“This really shows how large the interest in sustainability reporting has become since GRI released its first Guidelines in 2000,” adds Arbex. “By providing input to the G4 development process, professionals and organizations worldwide are helping to shape the Guidelines, which should support organizations to produce better reports but also be the starting point for those new to reporting.”
